There is the age old expression “It’s not personal, it’s business.” At The Huntsman Cancer Foundation (HCF) it is personal, it is not business. Patients are cared for on an individual basis. Treatments are specific to each patient’s individual needs. All of us are unique. The doctors at HCF recognize this and treat us specifically for our cancer. Time is taken to educate each patient, to make sure there is an understanding of their cancer and treatment options.

Cancer is a fact of life. There is no escaping it. But at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), hope endures. Great strides are being made in cancer research. HCI has the largest genetics database in the world and freely shares all information with other facilities. By understanding cancer from its beginnings, on a genetic level, the hope is to understand cancer risks, prevention, and treatment options.
It is important to note that 100% of donations to The Huntsman Cancer Institute will go to research. There are no administrative costs or overhead costs paid. Every penny will go directly to cancer research and only cancer research.

I am deeply committed to The Huntsman Cancer Foundation. The facility is absolutely beautiful. When you walk in the door, there is no hospital smell, or cold and impersonal feelings. Your first impression will be one of comfort, one of peace, and one of compassion. As beautiful as the facility is however, it is the people that make me so very grateful for The Huntsman Cancer Foundation. In all my medical experience, never have I been so touched by the empathy, and kindness shown to every patient.
